Brunel University is very much an institution where you are welcomed, regardless of where you are from. The facilities ranging from the laboratories to the on-site canteen are great, and the Student Union has a multitude of societies. On the whole, it is important to understand that any university is only as good as you make it, more so at Brunel as the facilities here are top notch, it is up to you to make the most out of it.

Unfortunately, the majority of my course was under COVID-19, therefore my learning had been skewed towards online. This however, was not as much of a struggle due to how well equipped my lecturers were in terms of adapting to an online-only environment. Assignments which would have been done physically were reflected into a simulation space, to the best of the university's ability. The lecturers themselves are experts in their field, and are always ready to help. The course hours were enough during the week, and it did not feel as though they were unnecessarily long. The course was well paced. I did do a placement year, that I found through the university's helpful jobs portal. Speaking of which, the Professional Development Centre is an excellent resource, as they are always ready to help (so long as you book an appointment).
