The staff can be really supportive however it doesn't seem that much funding is given to the department sometimes

Some modules are taught badly and the tutors don't seem to understand the concepts themselves while other modules are the complete opposite, the tutors understand and are supportive

Accommodation team is great and respond to emails quickly

I am an international student from Nepal where I expected to get an international exposure. However, I find the student around me are most from India which made me feel like I am studying in India not in the UK. I'd prefer more diverse environment. The best part is that, I really enjoy the academic parts. The teachers and course are really fun, interactive and understandable. I felt like this university fit me academically as expected. I am.not being able to involve in much extra activities and societies as in student union due to my class routine. I hope they'd improve this. As well as I believe there should be Nepalese society as well along with Japanese and any other nationality society. I have not being able to connect with people much around.

The best part is lecturers deliver the course really well and it's interactive. However, some modules are really difficult to get a hold of. I'd prefer physical class rather than online.

I like the overall thing..but I'd appreciate if they had an iron too since there is an iron table. And a laundry within flats. I also find laundry rate abit expensive. I hope they'd lower it to some extend.
