I love the campus of the University of Greenwich. Such an amazing campus to study in, or even spend some time in. I sometimes go and stay at the Painted Hall whenever I feel like I need to reset. The Student Union at Greenwich does a very good job. The Student Ambassador Scheme is one of the best aspects at Greenwich, I feel like the uni cares a lot about the Employability and Career of its students. I was quite disappointed about the interaction between student-lecturer or student-tutor as I expected more discussion and debates, but I barely had the chance to really exchange with any of them because of online studies, and the lab is self-study. What could be improved is the way courses are being taught, as an international student I expected a lot from a well known UK university, as I am also interested in research.

I said everything in the first section I apologise, but as I said - I was expecting more interaction with my lecturer, I expected to learn a lot from them.

There could have been more activities as I feel like this university's social life isn't good. It also can be tricky to reach accommodations team to ask questions and as a student living in UoG halls, much more could have been improved. For example I am having issues with my flatmates on cleanliness and I have reported this however the RA's came for a check on the day that cleaner comes and therefore the flat was clean. They should know this and in the end nothing was done. I have heard from friends in other unis that staff do inspections regularly rather than near the end of a term like they do in Greenwich and do write a report if there is an issue with the bins or the dishes. Another issue with accommodations was to apply for accom next year the server almost went down as many people were trying to access it and some people couldnt get a place for next year leaving them in a tricky situation. It just could have been managed more. In terms of cleanliness in campus toilets could be improved. In lectures I have heard from previous students and current students in different majors that lecture topics are outdated. As I do Computer Science the topics should be updated as this is a field that is improving and evolving and there was no need for them to teach us systems that were being used in 90's - 2000s as this helps us with nothing in the future.

As I mentioned, the topics in the lectures need to be updated as they are outdated and this is confirmed from current and previous students. We simply do not need to be taught technologies that were being used in 90's-2000s as that is no help for our future. Another thing is that there should be more recommended resources to support a lecture as some modules do not have enough materials such as Maths. There isn't a book provided. There isn't past exams provided. There isn't any resources added so we can understand better. There are no videos, pre-recorded or lecture recordings.

I would like to say it is good for price as the location is right next to the university. However it is not managed well as there are no regular inspections of common areas and they can become a mess. The RA's aren't the best and they do not help resolve issues and all they did for me was to misunderstand asking for help and turn my flatmates against me and create a hostile environment in my own flat that I am paying for. I still have issues with them not cleaning but I refuse to ask accommodations team for help due to this bad experience and have had to stop using the kitchen often as it can become pretty messy and dirty.
