I have had an excellent experience in uni. I have attended several others and Glasgow has been the best experience to date. The support from staff and the facilities have really helped me get through my 2 years there.

I believe that the Glasgow facilities are second to none.

The support offered from the university is excellent. I have needed some guidance from time-to-time and the staff have always been very helpful.

I have used both of the Unions over the last couple of years. I think they are great . I tend not to get involved as I am a bit older and not quite hip enough, but I do attend and have a drink or two.

Glasgow city life is student orientated. It is a great city to live and study in.

They are plentiful and there is something for everyone.

Could do with more out of hours tutorials or recorded sessions to look back on.

Glasgow constantly sends emails with opportunities for internships; full time employment and PhD candidates.

The community in the university is beautiful. All students are friendly and respectful. The diversity of students makes the connections between students more interesting. Staff and support offices are friendly as well. However, some processes in the university are quite complicated for no reason (such as enrolment and tuition payments). Some support offices take a while to respond. The facilities in the university are nice overall. The number of societies and clubs in the university is huge (just never understood why you need to pay to join one).

My course is extremely disappointing. As an artificial intelligence enthusiast, this course is a complete disappointment. I understand that the course is from the engineering department so naturally it would have engineering courses, but the name of the course is "Robotics & **Artificial Intelligence**" yet we are not learning any artificial intelligence. Most courses are basically electronics engineering, most AI courses are basic topics, and even advanced AI topics are just pure math? Robotics TDP course is a team project where we build robots to play football autonomously. How can you give that course before teaching Robotics fundamentals? Its like doing the course project first and then learning the course's material. Additionally, some courses have practical aspects (such as labs). Some of these labs use free courses to teach. Am i really paying over 21,000 pounds just to end up learning a course that is online and free? This sounds like a scam in my opinion. A lot of the lecturers just read from the slides and call it a day, and I have had one lecturer, who is supposed to solve questions for the students, tells the students to do them at home and ends the class 30 mins early, and if students ask questions, he never answers them. I completely understand that self study is huge part of uni, but come on. A master's degree typically focuses on specialized knowledge and skills within a specific field, yet all courses are VERY diverse. Honestly, I'm somehow embarrassed that I will graduate not knowing how to build machine learning pipelines or not knowing the practical aspect of deep learning. I wonder how would that play during job interviews :) Overall, the course is bad and a lot of improvements is required. thanks.
