Brighton University has great support for students and feels very welcoming . It's great being by the sea and the campuses are close to the city centre, though that does mean living costs are higher. There's a lot of facilities and I feel like I am able to go wherever I want to complete my studies, however some buildings and PCs are quite dated. The student union does a lot to engage with students.

The content delivered is great, it builds up a good understanding of the subjects. Lecturers are mixed, some no so good but others are fantastic. I'm currently in second year and we have 12 hours scheduled, all in person (last year was half online). There are often extra pop-in Q&A sessions scheduled by lecturers. The facilities aren't the best for computer science, PCs can be slow and inaccessible in the evenings when you need specialist software. There's a good amount of opportunities for placements in the area.

It's fairly pricey, and the laundry service is unreliable at best. The buildings were new when I lived there last year so there were issues with fire alarms going off and door locks not working properly. Some flats did not lock properly so anybody could enter. It's a convenient location close to moulsecoomb campus, bus stops, and shops. Internet was a little unreliable but the rooms were nice.

It’s easy and they teach very well, i like the friendly vibes

It’s hard but it has high demand and is interesting

The location is amazing and is less depressing than the rest of the uk although i wish we had more sun😂
