Excellent premises infrastructure and great support from everyone at the uni

Good uni. The course content is interesting and varied, and relevant to industry. Some professors are great, others not so great. Facilities are good. Societies are good. The town is good. Good uni overall.

Library on Bay is good but always quite full. Plenty of lab spaces and decent computers. Bay campus has a little Tesco, a pub, a few places you can get coffee, an eatery, and a gym. All of which are good. Singleton campus has a good club too.

Haven't used it myself, but we get a lot of reminders that it's there. I remember a time where a wellbeing worker was very indiscreet. Someone I knew asked for wellbeing support about an issue with their flatmates and the worker visited the student at their room, and their flatmates found out about it and gave the student a lot of flack for it. The wellbeing worker should have met the student somewhere else.

I believe the SU were responsible for the Dock Yard, where people can meet for drinks or food in a Covid-safe way, so that's nice. There's also the student reps, who have been good.

Local life is good. Plenty of pubs and clubs. Transport is fine, average basically.

There is a good range of sports and societies, but I'm not an expert. Seems very similar to a lot of unis.

Professors and their abilities to teach the content range from great to poor. It really depends who you get. Academic support is satisfactory, I just haven't used it much.

Well, there's year in industry, but that's as so-so as it is anywhere. There are some industry speaker events. There's also employability skills courses (although they cost a few pounds). There's also the SEA Award, but I've no idea how respected it is by industry.

My accommodation is very affordable, the internet is excellent, and the house is roomy. Only downside has been a few maintenance issues, which have been resolved.
