The lectures made a difficult course much more beginner friendly which opens it up to people with now experience with game design.

The course is taught extremely well by all the lectures.

The only negative is it’s expensive.

I feel comfortable and glad to be a student here. The uni provides a good environment for you to work, relax and socialise here all at the same time. I have gained good knowledge on the course.

The library is really good with it not being packed all the time. 24/7 is very nice because I can work at night which is when I feel most focused. IMS labs have computers that we can mess about with and not have to worry about damaging anything.

Lots. I found that the school accommodates many different people from disabled to international and in-between. Very friendly place in general.

They are around the place. They helped me on occasion with finding events to go to as I was not the best informed. They seem to take their jobs very seriously which is very impressive.

I am not the most sociable but I do like to go to a pub for the banter and there are plenty of them dotted around town. I know there are loads of venues that have major acts on a lot so that’s good. The city is cosy with it being easy to walk around saving you money on travel.

I haven’t joined any because of lack of time and interest. I think I might start one as I know that it is very easy to. I know they have a wide selection and there is nothing wrong with them in any way I know of.

My opinion on the computing course is a positive one. I had no previous knowledge on computers but had always found them in an area I wished to know more about. After being here I felt like the course was easy going on all people alike and the content was all designed to bring you up to scratch so that you are at the same level. Lecturers are helpful and responded to questions when asked and never intimidated you.

They have a very good online jobs post system for student and staff alike. I know of the CV and careers advice services as well as the frequent fairs that happen.

It’s nothing to complain about. I’m a student so I will never have a fancy place to stay. I know its good practice to look around none the less and you can end up with nice, comfortable places for cheap prices in Leeds.
