Durham is a small city so students make up a very large proportion of the term time population, as a result you'll see people you know out and about all the time, something I really like. It also means that no matter where you live in the city you'll be within walking distance of pretty much anything you need.
One problem with durham is its relatively quiet in terms of nightlife, there are clubs and bars but they all close at 2 and the clubs aren't the best. However Newcastle is just a 10/15 min train journey away if you want a big night out.

Covers a wide range of topics relating to Data Science giving a well rounded understanding of the subject. Its an intense course with 2 modules being completed every 4 weeks allowing for 8 modules to be completed in the first 2 terms before completing your dissertation over the summer term and summer holidays.
Since its a relatively new course at Durham there's still a few issues with getting marks back for submitted work on time, however this should hopefully improve in the next few years.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Great bar and common room
A few of the rooms are a bit old and could do with some renovation, however there's also a lot of newer rooms with en suites that are very nice.
