It’s been really lovely being in a university here in London,but I would like to mention the part where my fees were stated wrongly. It affected me to an extent which I didn’t like the feel of it. Although I got the necessary support and the fees corrected but to avoid such happening to anyone else,there should be a proper record to this effect. Another thing is getting a job here,asides the careers team helping with the CV , no other help is being rendered especially with the course we’re studying (nursing), for most of us upon completion we would want to start work and even getting one currently seems difficult with most of the employers always requesting for a previous experience in care in the UK,with the university’s influence I believe we can get internship placements and also get paid which can help us get experience and we can also blend well into the system. It would be really lovely if this can be looked into,I don’t know if we would benefit from it anymore but those coming shouldn’t have to go through the same thing,as it can be frustrating to an extent. Additionally, the time for resuming to class is during the peak hours and it’s quite expensive especially when we just got into the system,if the time can be adjusted a bit to accommodate us beyond the peak hours to save cost and to help us get to class in time,it would be very much appreciated
