There needs to be more improvements to full time students who are also full time carers. Courses need to be accessible to all. Courses need to be adapted to meet the individual carers needs so courses are not beyond their reach. All courses should be aware of students who have full or part time care responsibilities and adjustments made in order for students to access course and be fully supported with their carer role at the same time. Carers rights should remain in place and barriers should not be put in place to make meeting practice placements harder on the student. Collaborative working with QMU and NHS placements needs to improve to allow for this to take place.

Content is good but a lot of self directed learning. A lot of the topics would have been good to have class/group discussion and sharing of experiences to explore theories and policies from actual practice. There was to much self directed learning and feel more tutor in class learning would have given a better balance.
