My experience at the University of Sussex as an international student has been largely positive. The welcoming environment, diverse community, and strong academic programs made me feel at home and challenged me to grow intellectually. The beautiful campus and vibrant city of Brighton enriched my overall experience, while robust support services helped me navigate various challenges. However, the high cost of living and occasional difficulties with social integration and transportation could be improved. Overall, Sussex has provided me with invaluable experiences and connections, making it a great place to study.

My experience in the Media Communications course at Sussex has had its highs and lows. The well-structured blend of in-class and online learning accommodates different styles, with engaging lectures featuring industry professionals that enrich our understanding of media dynamics. The approachable lecturers foster a supportive environment, and group projects enhance collaboration and friendships. However, as an international student, I often find it challenging to participate in seminars due to language barriers, making it difficult to fully engage and connect with peers. More structured support for improving communication skills would greatly enhance the experience for students like me.
