The area of Kingston is beautiful with the river nearby and plenty of coffee shops to work in if you prefer to work outside of campus sometimes. The townhouse library at Penrhyn is a wonderful addition to the campus with 6 floors and quiet study areas, roof top cafe and balcony to sit on and work. The facilities at the library are great, with lifts to make it accessible for all students around the campus buildings. I would say that the library can get quite loud so it would be a bit nicer to have a bit more noise cancelling spaces or more control of noise levels to make the space better to work in. The university always have events on which are great and encourage students to get involved! The Kingston award is a great element of this where students are encourage to partake in activities to build their professional and personal development and transferable skills helping them become even more employable. It would be nice for more learning outside of campus to be encouraged for example small trips or educational days out to galleries or museums to make learning even more interesting . The university is a great place to study and there are many great things about the various facilities and campuses

Staff can sometimes be hard to approach and lessons are often complex but when asked they will often make the effort to explain and help on a 1.2.1 basis
