Working from home has been challenging but all the support has still been available. My supervisory team was great and helped keep me motivated through difficult times. Our Graduate School organised regular “coffee breaks” to help everyone feel connected. I participated in and presented at 2 conferences (online) this year. Although not the same experience as international travel to events, it still ensured I could disseminate my research findings to appropriate audiences.

I have my own named desk for my exclusive use. Good availability of equipment for hire.

Multiple types of support. Students can access peer support, academic and pastoral support within their school. Counselling available if required. Advisors for those with additional needs, medical advisors and a team to support those with personal/caring issues.

Research based course. Online contact with tutors this year. Online statistics support. Online conferences.
