While my fellow students find the offerings of KCL brilliant, as a mature student with a family I feel that the facilities for my demographic are not well met. A lot of the activities and opportunities were not created for people in my position, and it may be helpful to consider this for future students. For instance, gym classes and exercise sessions are often timetabled for the evening straight after classes, when this would not be possible for a parent who needs to collect children. It would be helpful to offer family activities and lunch time sessions at different campuses. More consideration should be given to make the campus and course inclusive of people in my position rather than catering only for the typical aged student.

Great course, slightly inflexible in terms of leave and attendance. For parents it is not inclusive, there is an assumption that your work life balance is not important.
