The students and lecturers and all staff are so welcoming and friendly, having come to Sussex to continue my higher education and do a MA, everyone has made my settling in period so much easier and smooth. The facilities such as the library, the GSRC, and student support centre have amazing places to go and sit down to study and focus which has been so beneficial for all of us as students. One thing that would be great, if possible would be to have the library open 24 hours, as I know for myself and many others working at night can be when we are most productive and working at home can be challenging to maintain all your focus.

The in-person learning is amazing, we have amazing conversations and quality debates based on the lecture material which helps us to better understand the material. The course hours are fair, however when first starting a master's the amount of independent work expected can seem very daunting and I think more support should be given to help with the transition from a BA to an MA. This is particularly applicable as many students have to work part-time in order to be able to live comfortably.

Sussex is extremely accommodating, I spent my entire undergraduate years as a sussex student and throughly enjoyed my experience which is why I later chose to stay for my LLM
