It is a compact university with lots of facilities just right for the capacity of people who go here. It does not need to be improved as it is a homely university and right for everyone whether that's students or the public.

I have good teachers and they give their time to teach the course right. Improvements can be to provide more guidance and understanding on future assessments and exams.

You make friends easier and it is good for the night life and the independence you gain from this overtime.

There are a variety of places to study however, when it's exam season, places get full up. It would be better to have more places to study for groups and and individual works. All of civil engineering lectures are delivered on campus with safety measures fit for covid. All lecturers are happy to help and are approachable. You can talk to them in person or via email, with quick and speedy replies. They also provide office hours where you can pop in and ask any questions you have. This is very convenient if you don't feel confident speaking up in lectures or if you had an assignment you need help with. Student life is amazing. Only a 10 minute walk away from the city centre, there's no need to use other transport as everything is at your doorstep. It's a lively atmosphere and there's always something to do.

Civil Engineering is delivered in class on campus. This is much preferred as you can contribute within the lecture. This is very convenient if you don't feel confident speaking up in lectures or if you have an assignment you need help with. I think it would be better if students had more contact hours with their personal tutors. Meeting up two times a year isn't good enough. It should be more frequent. Or maybe ask the student how many times they would like to meet up. I personally believe it should be at the start and end of each term, but it depends on the student.

Aston University is a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. This is perfect as everything is at your doorstep. There is always something to do for everyone. The city is always busy and lively as there's a variety of things do too!

Everything is beautiful and modern. This is to accommodate for students who prefer a high standard of living with a few more luxuries. Onyx has spacious rooms, and medium sized kitchens. My only concern was that there wasn't enough worktop space in the kitchens. It made sharing the kitchen a little bit harder, especially when a few of your flatmates were cooking at the same time. Onyx has amazing facilities such as a cinema room, common room, games room, gym and rooftop garden. It's great for relaxing with your friends after a busy day at uni. Overall, onyx is a great accommodation for students and I highly recommend going there!
