The campus feels disconnected; there’s no crossing of students doing different careers even when in the same general group. That said; the lecturers are very good at explaining things clearly (except for one or two exceptions) and the location of the campus allows students to experience the city center easily.

Some of the supplemental classes can have lackluster lecturers, such as maths, but the essential classes have top of the line lecturers who will answer any question you have with no problem. Most teachers offer their slides from lectures for later studying and revision while some even provide recordings of lectures, a big help when you didn’t take good enough notes.

The university of Strathclyde got some fancy sports center and student union with decent amount of famous sports clubs, also with great support from professors and tutors alongside. However, I dont really like how the campus look, didnt really feel like a uni campus as it is located in the center of glasgow

My course is fascinating and interesting, mainly chemistry based with some forensic content. Although it is currently taught online, but lecture videos are released per week alongside with zoom tutorials and drop in sessions provided by the lecturer. Myplace which is an online platform provided by the uni, could help you to track your weekly workload and every content that you needed would be able to access from it, which is quite handy. Lecturers are very helpful within the course and very nice and friendly during zoom sessions. I really enjoy the the practical side of this course too, where around 6-7 labs to be completed each semester. However, you may struggle to keep on top of the uni work if you procrastinate a lot, since the course content is quite dense with lots of lecture videos, tutorials, assignments, tests and lab reports to work on.

Glasgow is a city with great night activities for students with loads of clubs and bars. Where the university is within the centre of Glasgow with great transport facilities nearby such as the train station or the subway. However, Glasgow is a place with fast-changing weather and "gloomy as always" during winter which you might not like about.

I like how the views of my uni halls and it is very close to the laundry room. However, this hall do not provide any personal bathroom and there is no elevator in the hall where you might struggle if you got loads of luggage
