Studying at QMUL has given me so much both personally and academically. I am about to finish my BSc in Chemistry in a couple of months for which I get all the support I need. I am loving my time here so much that I have decided to do my Master's degree at QMUL form September 2022. It is rare for a London uni to have a fully-equipped campus like the one in Mile End, which helps to socialize, unwind.

The department invested a lot in chemistry education. We have a recently refurbished undergrad lab that helps us to understand chemistry first-hand. Currently, it is blended learning, which is convenient if you can't make it to campus due to illness. All of the academics are approachable, which was one of the most important aspects for me when I was choosing a university.

London can be scary sometimes, but it is definitely not as bad as others might say. I feel safe when walking on the streets even at night.

It makes it easy to connect with others but can be quite noisy which makes it difficult to do studying and coursework.

There are alot of opportunities for internships and alot of societies we can join. Queen Mary helps us with the career path we wish to take and we gave a very supportive student union.
