You get to gain practical and applied engineering skills from every module. Studying chemical engineering at Aston covers every single aspect in the STEM major. You get to study and apply not only core Chemical Engineering modules, but also business management, economics, design, coding and even environmental science and renewable tech. Which will help you decide what you want to do/study after you finish your bachelors degree since you have experienced several aspects/modules related to the STEM major.

The lecturers are great overall. Very helpful and will guide you through what you need to do to achieve your desired grades. All lectures are recorded and posted on blackboard. You have the choice to have online or face to face meetings. The course experience went smoothly even with the pandemic.

Best: wide range of societies and clubs. Worst: blackboard can be lacking in information or difficult to navigate.

Large improvement in the course as they use online learning less and less.

When i stayed there it was great that new students had a guaranteed place, however my overall experience there wasn't great.
