Based on my ratings you can tell that I have no problems with Aston University as a student. As a student who was scared to move to a different city for education Aston University did a good job by making me feel comfortable.

Overall teaching and support is great but sometimes the lecturers teaching quality is low to the point you don't want to attend the lectures.

Bagot Street is a expensive accommodation to live in but you do get what you pay for as its one of the better accommodations in Birmingham.

You get to gain practical and applied engineering skills from every module. Studying chemical engineering at Aston covers every single aspect in the STEM major. You get to study and apply not only core Chemical Engineering modules, but also business management, economics, design, coding and even environmental science and renewable tech. Which will help you decide what you want to do/study after you finish your bachelors degree since you have experienced several aspects/modules related to the STEM major.

The lecturers are great overall. Very helpful and will guide you through what you need to do to achieve your desired grades. All lectures are recorded and posted on blackboard. You have the choice to have online or face to face meetings. The course experience went smoothly even with the pandemic.
