Loughborough University London is a fantastic place to study. Not only does it have very highly qualified, caring and overall just cool lecturers, who put all their time and energy into our education, but it also has amazing teams working within the university that offer an array of different events and possibilities. Future Space is a team that works with linking us to the working world, finding us internships, organising networking events, and other informational sessions. The LSU and CVA actively create social and sporting events for all students to participate in, making sure to make it accessible for everyone. The building is clean, spacious, aesthetically pleasing and the fact that we are all in one place makes it feel like a tight knit community where we can easily meet people from other courses and expand our friend circles. The area of Stratford itself offers many attractions and commodities, especially sporting areas like the Olympic Park. There is even a convenient and free shuttle linking the university to the train station. One main improvement for me would be to improve the current café that is inside the building. While they have necessities, they do not provide full meals which would be good for students, especially those who commute and cannot access cooked meals easily. Most days these students will buy a sandwich, but having some cheap, hot food options would be of use.

The course is delivered in blocks, with modules being taught one at a time and separated by an assessment week. This is a great way to learn because it gives you the chance to fully immerse yourself in the topic without worrying about other lectures and subjects. There are in person lectures, often with extra drop in sessions, and there are also many additional resources we can access online, including the recordings of every lecture for this who missed them. Sometimes the lectures are just one hour long, which feels a bit short, especially for those who commute from far away, so that would be something I suggest be avoided in the future.
