Newcastle University is a fantastic place to study because of its vibrant campus, supportive staff, and strong sense of community. The city offers a welcoming environment for students, with plenty of cultural activities and opportunities to socialise. The university also provides excellent resources, from well-equipped libraries to modern laboratories, which enhance the academic experience. However, it could be improved by offering more study spaces during peak times and expanding mental health support services to ensure all students feel fully supported throughout their studies.

Newcastle University offers an engaging in-class learning experience that is both interactive and well-structured. Our course is delivered entirely face-to-face, allowing for direct communication with lecturers and peers, which enhances understanding and participation. Classes are scheduled at manageable hours each week, giving students sufficient time to absorb and review material. One of the strengths of the university is the accessibility of lecturers, who are approachable and supportive, often encouraging questions and discussions during and after class. This in-person format fosters a strong academic community, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

Meeting new people is the best aspect of university, whereas the worst experience is dealing with websites (such as MyCareer, etc.). They are too complicated, it’s hard to find the right information, and half the time I don’t know where to look for the help I need.

Best part is there is a lot of resources which are very helpful.
