Worst aspects: Communication from departments and services can sometimes be inconsistent, and student support services (e.g., wellbeing or admin) can feel stretched during busy periods. How to improve: Improve communication between departments and students, offer quicker access to wellbeing and academic support, provide more practical learning opportunities across courses, and continue investing in updated facilities and campus services to support student life.

Best aspects: Strong design-led teaching, supportive tutors, and a creative studio environment. The course helps me develop a high-quality portfolio and encourages innovative, research-driven design work. Worst aspects: The programme feels quite theoretical, with less practical/technical focus than some I expected. Workload is intense, and experience is a bit weary with how the design unit is being led by the tutor.
