The campus has a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, and the faculty are consistently approachable, encouraging, and generous with their guidance. The university offers a wide range of extracurricular programmes and structured support systems that enable meaningful engagement among incoming students, current students, and alumni, as well as with external partners. Initiatives such as **Gene Editors of the Future** should be further strengthened through dedicated funding and physical space, as they provide valuable hands-on opportunities. Expanding such programmes would allow more students to access internships like the one I undertook, thereby enhancing skills development and supporting strong, long-term career prospects.

The course was academically rigorous and offered substantial depth; however, it would benefit from a broader range of optional modules more closely aligned with the degree, allowing students greater flexibility to tailor their learning to specific interests and career goals.
