The University of Westminster is known for its international community. As an international student, I feel that the university provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. One of the best aspects of studying at the University of Westminster is its strong focus on student prospects. Westminster offers innovative programmes such as the Dragons Gene Editors of the Future, Cavendish Living Lab, Westminster Working Culture, and the Big Idea and Ignite competitions, alongside a highly active Students’ Union. Many of these opportunities are free of charge, making them accessible to all students.

Overall, the courses, classes, and teaching are excellent and have a strong industry focus; however, for applying to a Biomedical Scientist post or other NHS roles, more clinical experience is needed. Although the sandwich year is helpful, the availability of placements is limited and highly competitive.

I find Westminster a great place to study because the campus is in the heart of London.

More interaction with students would've been good instead of just reading off slides we can just access on Blackboard.
