One common concern is the cost of living in Manchester, which has been rising, making accommodation and daily expenses a challenge for many. Additionally, while the university has excellent facilities, some students mention that access to mental health support and academic guidance could be enhanced to better support well-being and academic success.

Some halls also experience maintenance issues, such as heating or plumbing problems, which can take time to be resolved. Additionally, in larger halls, noise levels and cleanliness in shared spaces can sometimes be problematic, depending on flatmates.
