Nottingham Trent University has been with me from the moment they accepted my application. Further than just being an academic institution, they have provided me all kinds of resources for me to feel comfortable. As an international student, the experience can be difficult at first, but NTU was with me from the minute I arrived to the UK. They offered me a way to get to Nottingham safely. Staff was there to welcome me. Classes start only after induction sessions to make sure one knows what to expect. And beyond the academic facilities, they offer uni life, safe spaces, and all kinds of support from financial to mental health. It makes me feel they care about me not only as their student but as a person and that they value me and keep me in consideration when taking decisions. Although the course is demanding, academically speaking, professors and staff are always there offering to help and are open to questions and doubts. I believe I wouldn't have made a better choice with NTU. An area of improvement is probably accessibility to the off- city campus. As there is only two bus lanes that access Clifton Campus.

Biomedical Sciences MSc. is a demanding but equally gratifying course. The professors I've had are high quality researchers that often provide their own papers as examples in class, which I have always found both amazing and inspiring. The modules are well divided and well classified. An area of improvement could be the timetabling as some modules take up one whole day of lectures instead of dividing those lectures through the week.
