It’s such a peaceful place to study. Prior to going there I never went to an open day but I could not imagine myself anywhere. It’s a very forward thinking university and the teaching is great. All my lecturers have been so helpful and involved with my progress; they really care about the students progress which is great.

The library is huge and even has an online component which is useful for commuting students such as myself. Lectures are equally balanced between informative and interactive to maximise information intake. I like how some aspects of distance learning have been integrated with in situ teaching as it breaks up lectures a bit, plus it’s convenient for commuting students like me

Most things are in walking distance and there’s lots of different places to go in the day in between lectures and at night with friends. The price of rent is far cheaper than most places in the UK. It is in the middle of most places so you could go on a day trip anywhere for relatively cheap
