I have always felt welcomed and supported by my university. My experience with the help facility First Point has always been outstanding. The staff are always available to help out and willing to facilitate students needs. The only negative thing I could think of would be the mitigating circumstances procedure. However, the Students Union is currently working towards making it a fairer and easier system as to allows students facing difficulties to get the help that they deserve.

There is opportunity to learn a wide variety of knowledge, the lectures are always interesting and the lab work is always challenging in a fun way. but, the modules sometimes seem unspecific for my course as I share the same lectures with others on different courses, it is difficult to see the applications to my degree sometimes.

The housing is definitely pricy in some places and it can be difficult to find suitable and affordable accommodation especially on campus.

The course is great, and the tutors are extremely helpful. The cafeteria however is very expensive, and the microwaves there have been mostly broken for the first few months

The course is intense but extremely helpful in getting us to the level needed without being too forceful. The tutors are fantastic and I am always aware of what is needed

Its not fully a student town, but it still feels like one at times. There is not a lot of variety for nightlife, and the town centre is very dense with nothing much outside of it
