Practical sessions are fun and engaging. Use of more visual content to give context to text on the slides e.g. videos of live examples, 3D animations etc.

Nice people. Could have better societies. Some brutalist buildings are not pleasing to the eye. Accommodation has many problems (wasp infestation, no running water, black mould in rooms) and needs to be fixed properly to be inhabitable . Good train links to major cities like London and Birmingham. But Leicester city is a smaller city and doesn’t have much entertainment. Student union could have healthier food options.

Most lectures are online and students may find it difficult to adjust and find motivation at the start. In real life lectures are only review or intro lectures.

Many problems with the house since moving in. The problems take a while to be managed and seems to be reoccuring. Wasp infestation. Black mould. No cold running water on the first day. Hob takes a long time to turn on. Leak from ceiling. Light in bathroom doesn’t work. Water pressure in shower is not great.
