The staff and the lecturers are all very accommodating and willing to help answer questions, despite it being a lot.

The course content is spread out nicely and the assignments are not too heavy or time consuming much if we space them properly.

The reception some times just pop off at like 12 pm. And the fire alarms are very frequent.

Dundee Uni has a great location, it is in the town centre, its a really cheap city to live in as a student. Socially Dundee is amazing, since its a fairly small city and the uni takes up a lot of it, you will always bump in to people you know. It has great nights out, though the Union has sort of gone downhill after Covid. The Biomedical course, is really great, the lecturers are really into it and there are lots of research facilities and projects to partake in. One thing that I would say it would need to improve is its Sports Facilities, compared to other unis we are really old dated. Additionally return the Dundee Union, to its prime for parties and event nights.

My Course for the first 2 years is the same as all the otherit’surses. Which works out for me because I do Biomedical, so all the study is relevant. But for the people that take plant sciences or genetics or neuroscience. A lot of it is foundational and has nothing to do with what you want to do. But its great if you are not completely sure of which bit of life sciences you are interested in, cause it lets you play around with a lot. You have go abroad opportunities, plenty of internship opportunities as well, and the lecturers are good and engaged. After the 2 years, you get to chose your branch and specialty and it is great, so many choices in modules. The course is now taught fully in person, and there is weekly lab experience. It does require a lot of self study hours.

Very expensive, you end up paying twice the money that you would with your own flat. But the facilities are really good. And property management immediately helps out with anything
