The university is incredibly supportive of students from every background and are always looking for ways to improve student life. Some parts of west campus are a bit worse-for-wear (mostly department buildings and some accommodation) but overall great!

My course content is always interesting and delivered well, although the blended learning approach means it can be a bit hard to keep track of where you're up to. The VLE helps, but it would be nice to have a bit more consistency.

I loved the flat structure (and quad) structure, and the amenities that were available (eg. catered accommodation and The Lounge) and there was always someone on hand in case you got locked out, but the en-suites were also very small which meant they could be quite dangerous, especially when getting out the shower if you slipped. The shower curtain also wasn't long enough so the floor would get quite wet whenever the shower was on.

There's so many places on campus to be able to relax and study in peace and all the facilities are kept in good condition. Student support is aways there. When I reached out for mental health support in the past however, they were rather slow in helping me, but I still had support from other avenues so it was fine, but disappointing that the uni didn't help as much as they could have.

1st year was almost completely online which made studying quite difficult. They did however, have some inperson workshops to consolidate knowledge taught online. All exams are open book online, which makes it much easier and fairer for myself with dyslexia. Furthermore, the field trips provided have all been fully paid for and been some of the best experiences I've ever had.

I was given one of the oldest building in the college and therefore some of the aspect of the building could have been updated, which they now have. Only one kitchen for 16 self catered students, in a kitchen that was smaller than the kitchens given to houses of 6. Overall the rooms and ensuite we're spacious and comfortable.
