The city allows for everyone to have the opportunity to associate with what and whoever they like. The university for the most part does a good job of supporting this alongside studies. Support from wellbeing, SU is present, however there is a significant hierarchy in response time and quality, relating to how severely your problem is related... treatment is vastly different. All facilities are good quality, however are a luxury for most students, not sure how the hardship fund affects this. Overall a decent place to live and study, though not for everyone, all the time, especially those that are most affected by cost of living. It's a wealthy city and university, and this is not changing anytime soon - vastly different experiences based on your family and connections, education and wealth.

Everything is fine, for most students, and those that want to access higher levels of education/prospects, there are opportunities available. However, this is not the same for everyone, and not every career/internship will be fruitful for the students straight away. Some lecturers put in a lot of effort, others not so much... overall a decent quality of teaching, and tutoring, but nothing close to higher rated universities

Was in covid year, no proper management of tenants, led to messy halls with large number of tenants. Was fun though, not sure how it is now

Studying biology at the University of Bristol is a real privilege. The Life Sciences facilities are state of the art. Students get to learn from the leading experts in this field. Bristol is a wonderful place to live with a wide variety of cultures, and art and has a great music scene. There is room for improvement when it comes to mental health services.

I think this year's in-person lectures and online lessons are well-balanced compared to the first year. The number of lectures in person has increased since last year giving the student more opportunities to speak to the lectures and also the course itself seems more engaging. Because I am a biology student I have quite a lot of lab practicals where I take full advantage of the University's facilities.

The Bristol University campus is in a great location, unlike some other universities. It's practically in the centre of everything, it's near the downtown, very close to Gloucester road (great nightlife), but it's also not far from the countryside.
