Really nice feel to the university and the course is interesting. However it is very intense and due to large amounts of students there is little focused support. There are 2 student unions which are both really good and lots of societies you can join. Campus is very beautiful and close to Byres Rd which has lots of shops and cafes to explore.

There is a lot of contact time and a lot of course content which makes it difficult to find independent study time especially doing 3 subjects in first year. However the content is very interesting. I would recommend focusing more on your degree subject than your elective subjects to make sure you get the grade you want for second year. Lab facilities are great with lots of equipment and cleanliness. Teaching quality would be improved by adding small group sessions to help with assessment preparation. There is very little teaching of how specifically to answer exam questions.

Really nice place to live, more homely and peaceful compared to halls of residence which are more party locations so perfect if you like to have a good night sleep. Super close to campus (5mins) from lectures. However, on the website my room was £158 per week but actually ended up having to pay £850 per month for about 7 months which is difficult if you have an English student loan. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have savings or parents to help you. Other than that I love living here as it feels more like an apartment than a halls of residence. Plus regular cleaning visits help keep things in shape. Make sure you have a dressing gown in winter!

Its a very good environment for learning because a lot of things i do not have an idea of before , i do now but i just feel like all is moving too fast as we that don't know some basis still have some extra studies to do and no much time to do so because every thing keeps piling. I hope this part can be improved one way or the other because it has affected students like me a lot.

The course hours is fine for me, but the basis of the lecture I do not have much time to study it as regarding different background. i think there should be a slow down and also more engaging activities for m e to love the course even more
