Bangor University is located at the foothills of Snowdonia which is absolutely stunning and a must visit place. All of the clubs and societies are free here at Bangor University and the quality of teaching is top tier. If you are still contemplating whether to come here at least for an open day, think no further, do it, you would not regret it.

The course at the moment is blended learning. You have a choice to attend in person seminars or online ones. All of the lectures are pre recorded and are easy to access. If you have a question for a lecturer or just want to get some advice, 1 to 1 support is available.

Bangor might not be the biggest or most fanciest of places, however one of the biggest attractions is the location. Everywhere you look there are wonders of nature;mountains, lakes, sea, forests. Absolutely stunning and a heaven for all the outdoorsy types.

A quick warning, St Mary’s village and also Fridds Site are both on top of very big and steep hills on either side of Bangor. If you are not into walking up it every single day, multiple times a day go either with private housing in lower Bangor or with IQ accommodation. Otherwise the quality of the rooms is good.

The surroundings are serene and Bangor making it a fantastic place to study natural and acquatic sciences. It's also the best place to study my course in the UK, because the ethics and licensure board for regulating applied practice is headed by a professor here.

The course requires a lot of self-study and contact time with professiors is really less. However, study support, course content, and lectures are great.

It's cheap, feels like a student dorm, and has adequate facilities. Utilities are included which is great. Free access to gym as well.
