Leeds is situated just next to the city which makes it easily accessible to explore after classes. The facilities for the Business School has recently been renovated as well so the classrooms are very modern. Making the best out of the experience is up to you - Leeds provides you with so many options!

The best aspect is that it is clearly designed for the Banking professional in mind - alternatives from other universities are far too theoretical and designed with a "back-office" career in mind. The accreditations and the eligibility to become a Chartered Banker makes Leeds the best option for a career in finance. The worst aspect are the demographic disparities which is beyond the university's control. That is to say, there isn't much diversity in the classroom. If you're from a minority, it may be difficult to find your crowd. The academics can do more to encourage collaborative studies.

The university experience has been amazing to this point. The university offers several channels of support and opportunities.

The best aspect is the quality of the teaching. All professors are friendly and open to questions. However, I believe that more seminar time is needed to drive interaction and understanding of course content.

Great student environment. Friendly local population. There are many opportunities for flexible part-time opportunities. One of the major limitations is public transportation, of which I find highly unreliable, especially on weekends. Regarding the cost of living, I find the leisure activities in Leeds to be a little expensive.

I believe that the room allocation was done by ethnicity. To be more specific, I felt that international students and home students were separated through the room allocation. Other than that, university accommodation was a pleasant experience.
