The best aspect of uni is definitely the freedom I've had since living alone. It's a fun new challenge and gives me lots more time for myself. As somebody who find talking to new people a very daunting task, making friends has been particularly difficult for me. I've struggled to motivate myself to go to society events and connect with my peers which has led to sometimes feeling quite lonely

I really enjoy the new and gradual introduction of content through my lectures. It's been a very good and manageable pace as to not get too much into one time. The university could improve better in it's communication with students as to what they want us to do in terms of assignments.

I love having my own room with a bathroom and everything I need close by. However in my particular halls the layout of the rooms means there isn't much interaction with neighbors unless you're in the kitchen at the same time, which has made getting to know people a little bit harder.

Student complaints about the quality of teaching in some modules isn't taken seriously and it is brushed under the rug. However the majority of the lecturers genuinely love their subject and their doors are always open to students requiring assistance. The pastoral support offered by the uni is also top class.

Course is taught through blended learning, however some modules could have more contact hours due to the difficulty of some of the concepts that are explored, however there is a plethora of additional resources provided to somewhat make up for the low contact hours

Campus is near the beach, which is a fantastic place to just sit when stressed. Plenty of good restruants around the city which are cheap and provide top quality food. Local people are also super friendly and helpful

Only issue is that the shower drains do drain rather slowly so you will be standing in ur dirty water for a couple of minutes
