I don’t really have much complaints. The staff are very nice and they are very supportive throughout the degree. I did have a bit of trouble understanding OOP programming languages, but through the assistance of Peer Assisted Learning, which is basically students further in their courses, answering some questions and helping you with any challenges you face in your projects or assignments.

There was a time when some of our lectures had to be cancelled because of the weather conditions, but the content was delivered to us online and was accessible to anywhere, at anytime, which for me, is great because it means that I don’t really lose much on learning. Our schedule during the week is very flexible, giving us time to catch up when lost in our learning, and also some time to work on some personal projects or self-learning, which I believe is a crucial thing especially for a field where you have to be able to learn everyday because the field is is very dynamic. Sometimes it really can be hard to understand the lectures because you’re new to the topic, but they certainly will be there to aid in those gaps

It’s alright. Not many complaints from me. I never really get out or do much, so I wouldn’t be able to give much information on safety, but I’ve never heard of any issues. It’s a great place to stay, and they do their best to allocate you in a room that meets your preferences. For me, they met my preferences, so I’m happy with the place.

Best Aspects: The University is based in the city centre, which is where all the pubs and clubs are. It also helps with finding a job as there are plenty in walking distance. The are also student focused, there are a lot of changes which are based from students opinion and feedback to try and allow those to get the most out of their study. Worst aspects: During exam and assessment season, the library doesn't have the capacity to fit everyone. It feels difficult to find a computer and near impossible to find an area for a group meeting if you don't book in advance.

During my 2 years, I have spoken to my tutor once. The lecturers are always approachable though, so I don't feel I have missed out on anything.
