The location of the university is best and the student support they provide is outstanding.

The program combines some lectures for students from both semesters, but assigns coursework based on the difficulty level of semester 2 students. This is unfair to the students in semester 1.

The staff are supportive and offers many opportunities through extracurricular activities. One of the opportunities has resulted in me having an all-expenses paid trip to Liverpool. I also get to earn where I learn, which makes my work, study and personal life easier to balance. The worst is the timetabling the first semester was ok, but the second semester was a bit of a mess, resulting in an email being sent to me stating my attendance was not good. I have never missed a class.

The course is great, I am learning a lot and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. It does get intense regarding the workload being a single mum working part-time but I still manage to get through due to the support I get. My only issue is that I have class three days a week, two of which I finish at 6 pm. Other students who picked a different module are only in two days a week. The course was marketed as only needing to be on campus for a maximum of three days a week so trying to fit part-time work and personal studies is more challenging. Lecturers make themselves available for extra support if needed and most of the time, classes are face-to-face. I only had an online class when there was a major train strike.

The location of the university is why I chose it as it is not far from where I live and have the option to walk, cycle or take the bus. I have on a few occasions travelled to Oxford Street, Waterloo, Covent Garden and London Bridge to do a bit of shopping in less than an hour which is convenient for me given the abundance of transport options in the area.
