The sense of community surrounding the university is fantastic and the staff are very communicative and supportive. The campus could be improved with better street lighting, but overall it’s a very pleasant place to study and live.

The information given to students about career prospects is vague and only somewhat applicable to what we are actually studying. Despite this, the course is very interesting and the lectures/seminars are engaging. The tutors are very easy to talk to and can be easily reached.

My main issue with the halls is that you can’t choose your lease length, which can make it expensive. For the price of Alcuin, the kitchens and bathrooms are of questionable standard. However, the location is good (close to the library) and fairly central. There’s decent heating and the flats are a reasonable size.

Absolutely beautiful and homely location, brilliant course and student support.

Not many contact hours - I would like more! Brilliant level of teaching and fascinating modules.

Pretty expensive (as is every college), and laundry is an additional cost. Great location however, and lovely room.
