Best - meeting new people and everything is very inclusive and offers new opportunities. There is always support if it is needed. I enjoy the student life also. Worst - being in debt. Nothing is worse than struggling to pay rent. I feel SFE should offer more loan to those who are struggling, in fact everyone should get max loan or uni should be free.

Best - allowed access to all facilities, so many places to work and get work done. Support is available all over the uni. Worst - some work set by lecturers has not been thought through, as with one last year we discovered we could not come to an answer as it was impossible to find it and we were told to just “get on with it, even if there isn’t an answer”. (The maths question should have enabled us to come to an answer as this was the whole point of the coursework). This made the work extremely stressful.

The best thing was being able to socialise with fellow flat mates and learn from others who were from other parts of the world. Showing each other new recipes that they brought with them. This is also where i met my friends i currently live with. The worst bit was part of it being during covid making it difficult at this time to meet others apart from the ones in my flat, however the restrictions were eased later on. Having an ensuite was massively beneficial as i have a bit of a clean freak it made me feel a little less home sick at the start.
