It’s a great city to live and study in, it’s small enough to walk around the whole campus/city but there’s so much going on that it feels like a big place. The student night life is also great. One thing I think that could be improved is the actual teaching time. On my Fine Art course I only have 2 hours official timetabled classes a week, I would love you have more classes and tutorials of art skills and techniques. There’s are on offer but aren’t very frequent. But overall the Art course allows you to explore and expand into whatever methods and subjects that are relevant to you and you get the first few years to explore and practice, the last 2 years are the ones that count towards the degree and so it takes the pressure off.

Contact hours are only 2 hours a week for me I think this is too little, I would love more teaching time. I get one lecture and one seminar a week. These are great classes however I would like more. I love the 1-1’s with my studio tutor that happen every few weeks but again I wish I had more of them because they are so useful and I get lots of great ideas and support.

It was very spacious in the shared living/kitchen area. The rooms were super nice and modern and clean. Having my own bathroom was great and it was big enough for one, the shower was surprisingly spacious. If there were any problems as small as even a lightbulb needed replacing the staff were great and fixed things right away. The large flat sizes have you more chance to make friends. There was lots of storage under the bed and in the wardrobe, and in the kitchen plenty of fridge and cupboard space..

Can't fault the staff or university itself
