The best is definitely the campus; it is visually gorgeous and enables us students to live a fun campus lifestyle. We can easily get to class to extra curricular activities, easily meet up with friends, and grab food from the different eateries. Student support at uob is also fab - the welfare representatives and majority of employees at uob have a real sense of care and interest. I also like being on a small course as we can form a personal relation with the lecturers and have a greater sense of support. The guild is fun and puts on fun activities but what I like the best is the activities for festivals, vintage clothes sale, more wholesome activities. I think they do this brilliantly - could possibly do more of it. I am not a huge fan of Selly Oak but that is not an improvement the uni can make. Although I think the uni would benefit from putting a tesco on campus and also creating more quiet rooms if they can. also getting more pianos on campus as there are only 2 which are always booked out!

I love the small size of my course and getting to know the lecturers on a personal level. They are all professionals that produce engaging content. However, the modules do seem to lack diversity in regards to modules moving away from the Eurocentric discourse. My tutor is very switched on and we get sufficient contact time. Our facilities are amazing; the Barber Institute is truly a privilege to study in. The collection is incredible and the building is usually only filled with HoA students or members of the public.

I would not recommend Chamberlain tower. Although it is visually appealing I think there are a lot of down sides to living there. It is much further from campus than the other accommodation, it is not as sociable, it is not worth the extra money in my opinion.

The uni facilities and campus is a great place to study - the library is very useful, the barber art gallery is great for a hugely of art student and there’s lots of study spaces. The teaching is very good and the lecturers are clearly invested in their research making it more engaging. The support from tutors and well being services is also very good but I would suggest they make students more aware of the help they can get. The location is good as it’s easy to get to the city but the area for student living in second year is less nice - it is also expensive to buy any food or drinks on campus.

The teaching is very interesting and engaging and there’s a wide range of subjects. The facilities are great as we learn in the barber art gallery. I would like a few more contact hours with tutors as this semester I only have about 6 hours a week.

The location on the vale was great as it was with most of the other halls. The value for money was very good compared to other halls but the facilities often needed fixing.
