The best experience would be with the teaching staff and tutors who are there to help when needed, especially in the library, where I could rely on them for assistance with my writing skills and books to read. During the initial days at the university, they provided a lot of webinars to support international students in utilizing the campus and technology. I also received financial and mental health support, as it was really hard with the cost of living crisis. The worst aspect is the events in the student union; most of the events are not suitable or inadequate for students to attend. At times, I felt left out as I couldn't manage time to attend them.

There is a lot of help available from lecturers for study material and discussions. The course is great, but it doesn't provide any further help related to placement or references to companies.

The student support the university provides for students is various, especially evening lectures organized by the university where various topics from architecture practices to film clubs are run and many other workshops to help students develop new skills. The way the university could be improved is by spreading the academic year more evenly throughout the year and not finishing so early in comparison to other universities; to allow students more time to balance university life and real life, therefore work etc...

The course is mainly taught in person, so the tutors look at your work and give you helpful feedback that guides and helps you take your next few steps. The course hours vary each week, mainly depending on the amount of work you bring to the university. Contact with lectures is always available.
