A beautiful campus, with lots of study spaces available. The quality of teaching is incredible and most members of staff are really passionate about their subjects and are willing to share this with you. Also opportunity for getting involved in research, both as a participant and researcher. Negatives are that it’s an expensive city to live in! Also, I feel like the support for students both mentally and academically is not the best. I would like to see more stats support drop-in sessions for example. Also, it is not made clear to students what support is available to access.

We have blended learning which I really like, and most lectures are recorded so we can watch them back if we wish. I do also feel like we get taught a lot of content, and staff are always willing to share more if you ask. The content is really interesting and I appreciate the applied aspect of the course which teaches us practical skills as well as theory. A negative is that when doing group work, we are confined to doing it in our personal tutor groups which is 4/5 other individuals. This means there’s little opportunity to get to know other individuals on your course.
