Good facilities, too much theory though

Lectures not very engaging

Bad location and quite expensive

The uni supplies plenty of study space both in sociable and quieter spaces which is good for working both collaboratively and alone. The separate-building campus means getting to know not just the uni but also the west end in general,however this also means that some classes are placed in unexpected buildings making it slightly trickier to navigate where and when to be in classes. The only true problem I've faced as a student was creating my timetable and enrolling for classes at the beginning of the semester which was difficult due to the demand for my chosen classes which meant I had to settle for ones I didn't necessarily think I'd have to take.

I'm enjoying the course content for my main degree but I find the style in which lectures are conducted to be tricky to learn the materials being given to me. Adjusting from school learning to University is taking time e.

I have been lucky enough to receive a refurbished flat however there have been many problems since moving in due to the new facilities being used. Problems such as lack of hot water on multiple occasions and faults in WiFi have created problems. However the area of halls is nice and convenient for shops and access to the west end
