It's been great fun here. It's why I'm doing my postgrad here! The biggest lure is the people; Lampeter Campus (I can't speak for Carmarthen) is incredibly accepting, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, religion, politics, interests etc... While it felt like the Uni management prioritised profit over students, the SU was more than ready to stand up for us. The course itself is incredible, I reccomend anyone who is coming here to do Classical Studies and Ancient History. No, I don't care that you want to do Islamic Studies. You're in the School of Classics now, kiddo.

Pretty good, although acess to them was not clear at all.

There was always help if I needed it, although it did take a while to get through due to long waiting lists.

Couldn't be better.

It's in a small Welsh town in the middle of nowhere. There are a fair few pubs, but we students make our own entertainment.

Lampeter Campus has, by far, the best societies I've ever seen. Not only are the vast majority of them very active, they have large numbers (in regards to the overall student population) and are pretty well supported by the SU. However, the University itself does not seem to like most of them, unless they are sporting teams that can win them prizes and money. Booo.

Incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, the lecturers (At least in the School of Classics) are amazing.

Within the town of Lampeter there is little actual job prospects. There is adequate careers support, I suppose.

Expensive and, at best, adequate quality. Only good thing was the quick response to most (MOST) maintenance problems. Oh, and a very strict and merciless inspection system that seems designed to hoover up money in the form of fines.
