Good balance between green space and city living. Campus based university with modern vet school facilities and innovative teaching.

Great balance of theory and practical though lacking in exotic/NTCA teachings.

Could request a quiet all girls flat and I was based just a minute away from my lectures which was perfect

In general I really like studying at the University of surrey, I study on the Manor Park campus but live near the Stagg Hill campus, and although Manor Park is the one which looks all new and fancy, I do prefer to spend my free time at Stagg Hill as I find it has such a wide range of locations depending on your preference! I find most of the staff absolutely wonderful and a great support. The union organises a lot of great things for the uni also

Currently quite a blended method of teaching but moving more and more towards all the lectures being in person. I think this method works well as it give us flexibility and choice in our own learning

I love the location of Guildford, its quite a small town itself, but has everything you need, and very quick transport links to London for day trips and concerts (without living in London which I personally don't enjoy!) as well as only an hour form Brighton and other beaches so its easy to get a seaside day trip happening, and also a mere 15 min drive and you can go hiking in woods and fields all day!
