Brilliant! Great members of staff who are helpful and friendly. Some lecturers have passion which is good. Accomm is expensive though. Library is fantastic!

The SU is a brilliant space for relaxing, studying, meeting with friends, and the library facilities are also amazing with a brilliant careers and placement team. The only problem with Plymouth uni is that in my experience, some of the assignment briefs have been very strangely worded so it is difficult to understand what is needed to be done, but the lecturers are easy to contact and helpful, and your tutor is always willing to help.

The taught hours seems very little compared to other courses, but personal reading and study is highly encouraged, and lecturers often provide a reading list for modules, or are happy to offer reading suggestions. The best part of my course is the field work: there is a variety of what you get to do and there are new skills to learn doing so, and groupwork allows you to get to know your coursemates better.

very nice city, lots of different shops and facilities, a good night out

On-campus accomodation was very nice but not necessary for me as covid meant there were no in-person lectures, so its not worth the extra money to be on campus. The rooms and kitchens were very nice and security were helpful when needed. The fire alarm system was faulty all year so there was at least one alarm a week in the night, the worst night was 4 alarms through the night.
