Friendly environment, beautiful campus. But the course assessment structures could be improved

Some of the faculties can be better and there are no placements

Location: Newcastle is one of the liveliest and friendliest cities I've been. Nothing compares to Northern hospitality. Also, the city centre is essentially your campus, everything you need at walking distance. Student Life: Newcastle is extremely student friendly. Always something going, everyone and anyone can find something that aligns with their interests (endless list of groups, societies, and events). There's also the extra bonus of all the student discounts available!

Very much a theory based course compared to other agricultural courses. Not necessarily a bad thing! But it's important to know if that is what you want when looking at your course. The course material is mostly relevant, but there's been some modules where you aren't sure why you are taking them. On the hand side there has been modules that have been very enjoyable and those are the ones you take the most out of. Learning is 90% in class. Our course is small enough that you get a chance to really get to know your lecturers.
